1‘बेडु पाको…’ तो उतराँचली गीतों का नगीना है। मैं एक बार पाँवटासाहिब एक शादी में गया तो क्या देखता हूँ कि वहाँ शादी-ब्याह में बैंड वालों ने भी (जो कि स्थानीय लोग थे)इसे याद कर रखा था और गा रहे थे। इसकी लोकप्रियता का अँदाजा इसी से लग जाता है।
गीत के पूरे बोल बताने के लिए धन्यवाद ! ये ‘आमिर खान द्धारा अभिनीत, प्रसून जोशी द्धारा रचित कोका कोला का विज्ञापन’ मैंने नहीं देखा क्या इसका वीडियो नेट पर कहीं होगा ?

20buddy be creative, our culture is very rich .. many people has learnt from us. The Mobile song is a shame to our culture though famous to new generation but in reality where our village folks suffers from basic need such concepts are meningless & unacceptable. Try some new like gopal babu goswami, Sherda Anpad & one suggestion ..to revive our old song like Bedu pako, dewanee launda dwarehata ko, garuda bharti kausani traininga, yo bato ka janu hola…many more oldee are there. Hence my request being a Kumoni be creative & bring the problems of our hill folks in your songs. 22“Bedu Paku…. ” has remained the most popular song for decades not only in Uttarakhand but all over the world where Uttarakhandis have spread . It has been the most saught after choice amongst garhwali fong songs. Thanks for posting it. I think , it will be good idea to post its gist {meaning} for the people (including uttarakhandis} who dot understand garhwali/kumaoni language.

I like uttrakhand culture and songs, particularly songs. Sometimes it is very difficult to understand some traditional or old words like Teele Dharo Bola. Can somebody tell me the meaning of this phrase?
Like this some kumaoni words are at the verge to disappear. These words are Eeja, Baju, Barbabu, Borju, Kaka, Kakhi etc. Even these words are not spoken by the budding children in our villages. Please save these words by teaching your children.
