Cola is out Cocaine is in. But wait  before you think anything else let me tell you this is the name of an energy drink, new in the market. Maker of cocaine claims their drink is 350 times stronger than red bull (another energy drink). At this moment Cocaine is being sold only in New York and Los Angeles metropolitan areas.

Now the controversy, some people saying this is not good, naming a product by the name of drug!. And at the same time some people thinks it’s the fun name. It’s a democracy and everybody is free to pick a name.

What I think is that high energy drinks are just a legal alternative of a drug, using a big hit of caffeine instead of cocaine. If this is not stopped now then may be tomorrow we will end up buying some “genocide jelly” or “Cocaine telcom powder”.

So far it looks like controversy is the best marketing technique and it works for everything whether it’s used for film or for a drink.
