Indeed Gandhi was clearly influenced by the European  culture when he was studying law in England. He also believed that the British empire is for the good of India. Only after seeing the pathetic condition of Indian indentured labours in S.A. did he started opposing the British, I interpret as per the first part of his 'experiments with truth' book.</description>

yeah.. there r lots of ppl who argue tht what Gandhiji preached wasn't gud.. but, its all their individual perspectives.. according to me... he is the Father of our nation (no doubt in it!!) and one who laid the foundation for the independent India to exist..</description>
