बच्चे और इंटरनेट सुरक्षा - अंतिम भाग

इस सीरिज के अंतिम भाग में कुछ सोफ्टवेयर और कंप्यूटर से संबन्धित सेटिंग की बात करके इसे समाप्त करेंगे। इंटरनेट ब्राउजर में दिखने वाले कंटेंट को कंट्रोल करने के लिये लगभग सभी ब्राउजर कंटेंट एडवाइजर का आप्शन देते हैं। मसलन इंटरनेट एक्सप्लोरर (IE) में कंटेंट एडवाइजर को उपयोग में लाने के लिये इस क्रम से मेनु में जायें - Tools->Internet Options, क्लिक करने पर एक विंडो ओपन होगी, उसमें कंटेंट (Content) के टैब पर क्लिक कीजिये। उसके बाद Enable के बटन पर क्लिक कीजिये। इससे एक और छोटा सा नया विंडो खुलेगा। जिसमें सबसे पहले रेटिंग (Rating) के टैब पर आप मारधाड़, सेक्स आदि से संबन्धित रेटिंग सैट कर सकते हैं। इसी विंडो में एक दूसरा टैब होगा Approved Sites का जिसमें जाकर आप चाहें तो वो साईटस जोड़ सकते हैं जिसे आप हमेशा देखना Allow करें या फिर उन साईटस को जोड़ सकते हैं जिसे Allow नही करना चाहें, पहले वाले के लिये बटन है Always नाम से और दूसरे के लिये है Never नाम से।

उसके बाद इसी विंडो के General टैब पर जायें और सुपरवाइजर का पासवर्ड क्रियेट कर लें जिससे आपके द्वारा सैट की गयी रेटिंग को कोई ओवर राइट ना कर सके। इस टैब में कुछ अन्य आप्शन भी हैं उन्हें भी देख सकते हैं।

इसी तरह से कई सर्च इंजन टूल सर्च किये जा रहे शब्दों के लिये फिल्टर का आप्शन देते हैं, आप उन्हें भी उपयोग में ला सकते हैं। उदाहरण के लिये गुगल में Safe Search उपयोग में लाने के लिये पहले जायें - www.google.com/preferences?hl=en, उसके बाद Safe Search Filtering वाले सेक्शन में Use Strict Filtering वाला आप्शन सलेक्ट कर Save कर लें। इसके बाद आप द्वारा किया गया हर सर्च फिल्टरड होगा, लेकिन ध्यान रहे अगर आपने ब्राउजर में Cookies डिसेबल की हैं तो ये काम नही करेगा।

आप चाहें तो कंटेंट फिल्टर करने वाले सोफ्टवेयर को भी इस्तेमाल में ला सकते हैं, इस तरह के कुछ सोप्टवेयर हैं -

Net Nanny: it’s one of the pioneers of internet filtering, first version came 1995, it’s one of the best product for recording what your kids up to on internet. net nanny can provide detailed logs of chat conversation and websites that have been accessed and blocked

Another good software is Optenet, it contains user profile so you can assign an appropriate level of access for your kids. it also automatically updates itself in background.

बच्चे और इंटरनेट सुरक्षा - भाग १, भाग २, भाग ३, भाग ४ अगर आप इन सोफ्टवेयर को खरीदने का मन बनायें तो चाहें तो इनकी Evaluation Version डाउनलोड करके पहले ट्राई कर सकते हैं क्योंकि ज्यादातर कंपनियाँ १५-३० दिन के लिये ट्रायल वर्जन देती हैं।इससे आप इनके फायदे नुकसान जानकर डिसाइड कर सकते हैं कि आपके लिये कौन सा उचित रहेगा।

इसी तरह से आप चाहें तो Firewall प्रोटेक्ट करने वाले सोफ्टवेयर भी उपयोग में ला सकते हैं, इसके लिये कुछ सोफ्टवेयर हैं -

ZoneAlarm Pro: easy to install, lots of support and tutorial available, has many features that protect your information and privacy, blocks annoying advertising while still alowing you to view a web page properly passwords protect your configuration and setup so your children will not be able to remove it.

if don’t want to invest then thay have ZoneAlarm it doesn’t have that many features but it’s free for personal use.

McAfee Personal Firewall Plus, this is good too, for technical support you can chat their tech support for free in internet. I use this for my laptop.

Norton Personal Firewall: alomost similar to McAfee, norton may have slightly advances internet filtering, tech support not as good as Mcafee

Outpost Firewall Pro: this is good for those who have good computer knowledge because it’s extremley customizable and will enable you to lock down your PC and home netwrok.
